SFDB selects its Post of the Week by going back and reviewing all the Sifts that we've done during the past 7 days. We find the best post of the week and note the runners ups as we judge them to be.
Wow. Super tough week to be judging the best of the best. I scratched two very deserving posts off this week's list in order to come up with this week's winner and 3 runners ups. Here we go...
Winner: Carlos Miller continues his string of posts documenting protests around the City of Miami with photos and a video from a June 20th protest march during the mayoral conference. It was wet and nasty and Carlos ruined a camera but he still was able to get some great shots and video which does a super job of capturing the sights and sounds of the event. For his efforts and the resulting post, titled March on the Mayors protest proceeds through downpour, Carlos Miller earns this week's SFDB Post of the Week.
Runners Ups: In a surprising development, Critical Miami signed off for good this week in a post appropriately called That's all, folks. And Camera Ephemera captured the attempted implosion of Coral Gables office building yesterday with a series of photos he posted and titled, Going, Going...uh, Guys?

Thanks, Rick. I sent my camera in to Canon to be repaired and because it is still under warranty, they are repairing it free of charge.
I should have it back this week.
