Via the very social All Purpose Dark, what's there not to like about a website that tells you where to score free drinks.Myopenbar.com was originally conceived and developed, respectively, by Rob Hitt and Seva Granik of Williamsburg (gasp), Brooklyn. Having realized the dire need for a centralized and coherent source of worthy open bar listings in New York, they took it upon themselves to scour the field and provide this free service to you, esteemed readers, at the expense of their own livers, sleep, and spare change jars.
Since its inception in late August of 2005, MOB has successfully gotten many a hipster soused. We've also been buzzed about, written about, praised, threatened, thanked, conferred "best of" status, and occasionally, a physical target for the wrong end of a Grey Goose bottle.
It appears as though they're just getting started (Issue # 0) in Miami, but just take a look at where you can drink free tonight. On a Wednesday!
Someone has got to let us know whether this info is accurate but in the meantime it looks like a darn good source of free booze.

Looks like Superbee is getting in on the action.

I was born in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. I could have told you great things come from there. :)
