A- Miami & Beyond doesn't like HBO's Recount.
The saga of how Jim Baker and the Republicans outmaneuvered Gore in Florida deserves to be told better than in Recount, the HBO movie. It doesn't need the cheap tricks: an absurdly caricaturesque Katherine Harris, the obsessive to the point of being obtrusive makeup of every actor to resemble the real life person (but curiosly, not Kevin Spacey as Ron Klain), the maniqueism (all Republicans bad, all Democrats good), the veering-onto-blatant-partisanism script.
B- Tilefortlauderdale drops Henry off at the Briny Pub along the New River.

whoa, and I thought I was up early... I haven't seen Recount yet, but isn't Katherine Harris absurdly caricaturesque in real life? What are SFDB's thoughts on Recount?
She is David, which is why Laura Dern's hambone characterization is distracting.
