Your Evening Sift



A busy day around SFDB HQ today. Nonetheless, we were still able to slap together this evening's Sift for you...

A- Obalesque downshifts and switches into summer posting mode.

B- Fratelli Lyon, a brand new Italian restaurant, opens its doors in Miami's Design District tonight. The (covert) overt has the info on why this place is so unique.

C- Miami Beach 411 has a preview into this weekend's happenings around town.

D- Is the Miami-Dade County Public Defender's Office about to quit accepting cases because of budget problems, asks Justice Building Blog.

E- Tilefortlauderdale drops Janie at "a recently abandoned CVS Pharmacy at the corner of Andrews Avenue and 17th Street, caddy-cornered from Broward General in Fort Lauderdale." Thinking out loud here, but wouldn't it be cool for Mary Tiler More to make a visit to South Beach one day?

G- Interesting traffic photos taken on the roads of SoFla by Some Cranky Guy.

H- Miami-Dade Dems has photos from today's voter registration drive over on Miami Beach.

Poor Duran. I sympathize with him. When Plum did a segment interviewing me... I looked fatter n' holy hell as well.
