Your Evening Sift

Man, do I despise the end of a holiday weekend. Just when I was getting in the routine of doing nothing all day. Here's your evening Sift...

A- Tilefortlauderdale does another two-fer today, leaving Fred in the ladies room at Total Wine (off of Cordova Road?) and Zoey at the yellow phone box at the Shell station on State Road 84 and SW 9th Avenue, both, of course, in Fort Lauderdale.

B- Miami Dish does a great post on what to expect when you dine at the FIU Hospitality School. Lots of pictures included.

C- The Marlin's performance this year has reawakened at least one fan's dormant soul at The South Florida Fan Blog.

D- Man or Maniac has some pretty strong feelings about the St. Lucie County teacher who recently abused an autistic child in front of the whole classroom.

E- Not Exactly Coral Gables is amazed at the results of a Sun-Sentinel poll that indicates that SS readers apparently don't like to visit the beach too often.

F- Miamism Pix captures a one-man band set up at Bayside.

G- Rakontur has the trailer for their new flick called Cocaine Cowboys II.

Thanks, Rick, for the link and the kind words in last night's post, and for being an encouragement to local bloggers everywhere.

D: I can't tell you how much that pisses me off, but she's not the only one. It takes blood sweat and tears to get some teachers to treat mainstreamed disabled kids as they do all other kids.
