SUNRISE — It was still dark outside Friday when the Young family got in line for an afternoon event in a 20,000-seat arena.
The mother and daughter did the same thing in the 1980s for Michael Jackson tickets. More recently, they woke the kids before dawn on the day Nintendo Wii hit the stores.
But on Friday, it wasn't a pop star or the next hot gadget that roused them from their beds.
It was a politician.
