There are many bloggers out there who talk loud and talk big and say things that they have no intention of doing or following up on. So when I read that Boynton Beach-based Blast Off! was going to attend some type of luncheon featuring U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz with the intention of asking her a question he'd been dying to pose to her for quite some time, I thought, "Right."
But then the luncheon was held and damn if Blast Off! didn't go right up to the congresswoman while she waited for her car to be brought to her after the event and ask his question. Not only that, but he continued to talk to her for 10 minutes. Amazingly enough, no Secret Service guys pounced on him and wrestled him to the ground.
His post, My Date with Debbie, details that special day and is SFDB's Post of the Month for March after garnishing 41% of the 91 votes cast by SFDB readers. Truth be told, Blast Off! had some help from his friends at Eshcaton but that is all good and in keeping with the spirit of the thing.
Once again, I want to thank all of March's nominees and reiterate that I am always impressed by the quality of the writing that is being churned out in the South Florida blogosphere. I hope you're enjoying reading the posts as much as I am enjoying highlighting and recognizing them.
Happy blogging, everyone!

Looks like Alesh's run suffered from over-exposure. Many of his suppoters went to the polls and said, "What's up with two posts?"
Well, thanks very much, Rick. I'm honored.
And sometimes those DFHs at Eschaton can be good for something after all. ;)
Let's keep fighting ... thanks again.
