B - Totally disagree with you, Rick. This isnt a naive replacement that he can influence. Spoelstra has been the heir apparent for a few years now and probably shouldve been coach this past season. The team isnt a Riley team anymore. Its a young team of guys now. Riley cant coach young guys and never could. The championship is all but a memory at this point thanks to 2 very disappointing seasons. Im interested to see how this kid does at the helm.
and...
E - is anyone surprised? Frankly, Im surprised we arent #1. Then again, Atlanta is horrific traffic-wise.
That road rage! I know some people who are even afraid to honk for fear someone is going to go after them with a gun or pummel their car.

Carlos Miller, 39, a photojournalist from Miami, was one of the entrants in a high competitive mode. His submissions included the head of an actual snake and shots he took at the Exxxotica convention taking place at the Miami Beach Convention Center that day.
''The biggest obstacles are the heat and the time constraint,'' Miller said. ``Working against time really challenges your creativity.''
I hope I win the photomarathon, but with more than 100 entrants, the odds are against me.
Check out the following email I just received from one of the judges.
Congratulations! You are one of the winners or an honorable mention of the 4th South Beach Photomarathon.
We hope to see you from 5 to 7PM on Friday, May 2 at the Tropicolor Gallery, 1442 Alton Road, Miami Beach, at which time the winners will be awarded.
See you then,
Chendo Perez
Congrats, Carlos. Tell us how it turns out.
BM: You're probably right. I don't follow the Heat much and was basing my remarks on a WPLG report that portrayed the new guy as Riley's towel boy.
