SFDB Post of the Month

So the end of February blew right by without me noticing and, as a result, I you didn't select a Post of the Month. Whattaumean you didn't know you were supposed to pick the PotM?

This is how it's going to work. I post the 4 SFDB Post's of the Week from February and SFDB readers pick their favorite by voting in a poll that goes up tomorrow morning. The voting ends at high noon 3PM on Saturday and the winner is given their own special post later that day. If anyone wants to be creative and provide a graphic that I can use for the PotM, please, by all means, send your contribution to the SFDB email address in the right sidebar.

Here's a chance for all you SFDB lurkers (and I know there's a lot of you) to get involved and let us know what post you enjoyed the most. The four nominees to check out and consider are as follows...

Nominee #1:

Hidden City's post, "Prehistory," gave us a look at a 1971 booklet for Disney World that he found in a box of family memorabilia.

Nominee #2:

Carlos Miller's post, "Video of Cuban exiles assaulting me as I was filming demonstration," covered the Code Pink rally that was held in Little Havana. The post included a video and Carlos' description of what happened when he waded into a group of passionate Cuban-American hardliners with a camera.

Nominee #3:

Calm Bobby's post, "Cuba," expressed his thoughts on Cuba after the resignation of Fidel Castro. The post stands in stark contrast to the rantings and ravings of other Cuban-American bloggers and is, quite frankly, a breath of fresh air.

Nominee #4:

Blind Mind's "Goodbye to a good friend" was a raw and heartfelt tribute to a friend who passed recently and is the kind of stuff you usually don't come across in the SoFla blogosphere. But when you do, it stands out.

Go back, read and review and come back tomorrow morning, bright and early.
