SFDB February Post of the Month: The Winner

I may not agree with Carlos Miller on everything most things, but I will say that his coverage of the Code Pink event in Little Havana in February was exemplary. Photos, a video, and gripping narration made for some great blog posts.

According to the poll, a majority of the respondent's agree. I'm happy to give the SFDB Post of the Month for February, 2008, to Carlos Miller and his blog, Photography is not a crime, it's a first amendment right, for his post Video of Cuban exiles assaulting me as I was filming demonstration. Great job, Carlos. Hopefully, you'll keep up the good work and, more importantly, shorten the name of your blog and post titles. Sheesh.

I want to thank all of last month's nominees and, really, all of the SoFla bloggers who make doing the South Florida Daily Blog so enjoyable. We are truly lucky that we have such a wealth of quality writing where we live.

I've added another section at the bottom of the right sidebar where I'll maintain a hotlink to the Post of the Month selections.

Let's keep up the great blogging!

Thanks, Rick. I am honored to have won.

Even if I never win another Post of the Month, I will always be proud to have won the first such contest on SFDB.

And thanks to everybody who voted for me.

And my blog title has been shortened. It is called "Photography is not a Crime".

The rest of it is just a subtitle.
